Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

11.35 oz Water

5.68 oz 100% Purity NaOH

Oils

4.50 oz Ricinus Oil (Castor Oil)

12.60 oz Coconut Oil - All Grades except Virgin

3.60 oz Babassu Oil

13.50 oz Karite Butter (Shea)

8.10 oz Olive Oil - All Grades

2.70 oz Palm Kernel Oil

Additives + Additional Ingredients

0.90 ounce Citric Acid (@2%) - add to coconut water before adding the lye

0.55 ounce Additional Lye - needed to neutralize citric acid

0.90 ounce Sodium Lactate (@2%) - add to lye solution after it has cooled down below 100 degrees

3 ounce Sea Moss Gel (@~27%) - add to warm oils before lye solution. Blend well.

1.95 ounce Fragrance (optional, @~4%) - add to soap batter at light trace. Blend well by hand.

0.50 ounce Blue Cornmeal (optional) - add to soap batter at trace. Blend well by hand.

Recipe Instructions

Use coconut water (8.35 oz) for the lye solution

Citric Acid (@2%) - add to coconut water BEFORE adding the lye

Additional Lye (0.55 oz) - needed to neutralize citric acid

Sodium Lactate (@2%) - add to lye solution AFTER it has cooled down BELOW 100 degrees

Sea Moss Gel (@~27%, subtracted from water amount) - add to warm oils BEFORE lye solution. Blend well.

Fragrance (optional, @~4%) - add to soap batter at light trace. Blend well by hand.

Blue Cornmeal - add to soap batter at trace. Blend well by hand.
