basil middle note (30%)
cedarwood- base note (40%)
FEEDBACK:
This is the same recipe as unicorn soap. I reached emulsification and when I poured it, it was very fluid and liquid. I jhad stick blended the colors and the blue portion was a pretty blue.
After 36 hours I unmolded even though the sides were sticking to silicone mold because I was afraid it would be hard like the unicorn soap was and that if I waited longer it would crumble when cut. I did not use sodium lactate, I apparently have a knack for forgetting this important part.
There was no need to unmold yet though, it was soft, but at least I got to see the colors. The EO's must have made their part to discolor to yellow, I knew litsea would do it but did not research the other ones. What used to be blue now it's a minty green, not bad but not the look I was going for. I do like how it smells. If I had to describe this fragrance, I would say it smells like you are drinking hot lemon tea, with a stick of cinnamon, in the middle of the forest.
My take away is that if I pour when the soap batter is in medium trace, I will be able to unmold sooner than when I pour when the batter is very fluid.
