Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

6.26 oz Water

3.13 oz 100% Purity NaOH

Oils

1.44 oz Cocoa Butter

1.92 oz Ricinus Oil (Castor Oil)

5.28 oz Karite Butter (Shea)

7.20 oz Coconut Oil - All Grades except Virgin

4.32 oz Olive Oil - All Grades

2.40 oz Sunflower Seed Oil (High Oleic)

1.44 oz Babassu Oil

Additives + Additional Ingredients

0.50 ounce Citric Acid (@2%) - add to the coconut milk before freezing.

0.30 ounce Additional Lye - add to required lye amount once coconut milk is frozen

0.50 ounce Sodium Lactate (@2%) - add to coconut milk/lye solution once cooled below 100 degrees

1 tablespoon Colloidal Oatmeal (@~2%) -blend with 2 tbsps of the hot oils. Blend well into a slurry and blend well into the warm oils before adding lye solution.

1 tablespoon Diluted Honey (@~2%) - dilute honey with 1 tablespoon of distilled water. Add to soap batter at light trace. Blend well by hand.

1 ounce Fragrance (Oatmeal, Milk & Honey from Brambleberry) - add at light trace. Blend well by hand.

Recipe Instructions

A full replacement of coconut milk will be used instead of distilled water to dissolve the lye. Coconut milk needs to be frozen before adding lye to prevent scorching.

Citric Acid (@2%) - add to the coconut milk BEFORE freezing.

Additional Lye needed to neutralize citric acid. Add extra lye to required lye amount once coconut milk is frozen.

Sodium Lactate (@2%) - add to coconut milk/lye solution AFTER solution has cooled below 100 degrees.

Colloidal Oatmeal (@~2%) -blend with 2 tbsps of the hot oils. Blend well into a slurry and blend well into the warm oils BEFORE adding lye solution.

Diluted Honey (@~2%) - dilute honey with 1 tablespoon of distilled water. Add to soap batter at light trace. Blend well by hand.

Fragrance (Oatmeal, Milk & Honey from Brambleberry) - add at light trace. Blend well by hand.
