2,300 g Coconut Oil, 76 deg

Recipe Instructions

  • dual lye 35% KOH and 65% NaoH

citric acid approx. 2% of oils = 45 + 27g extra lye (naoh = 372.42+ 27 = total naoh 399.04g

  • Unscented
  • 2% superfat
  • 2.5:1 water to lye ratio
  • this makes 20 x 200g bars
  • cost for the loaf is $13.8 oils + (213.53 x.010 naoh) $3.73 + (.035 koh x 117.49) 7.58 = $21.60\ 20 bars = $1.10 approx. per 200g bar
