Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

21 oz Water

10.50 oz 100% Purity NaOH

Oils

12 oz Mango Butter

24 oz Olive Oil - All Grades

9.60 oz Cocoa Butter

6.40 oz Ricinus Oil (Castor Oil)

20 oz Coconut Oil - All Grades except Virgin

8 oz Babassu Oil

Additives + Additional Ingredients

21 ounce Honeybush Tea instead of distilled water (use 2 tea bags)

1.60 ounce Citric Acid (@2%) - dissolve in prepared tea BEFORE adding lye)

1 ounce Extra Lye to neutralize citric acid

5 pinch Silk fibers - dissolve small cotton ball size per pinch to prepared tea AFTER adding lye while the lye tea is still hot.

1.60 ounce Sodium Lactate (@2%) - dissolve in cooled prepared tea AFTER adding lye, below 100 degrees.

3.50 ounce Fragrance (@ 4%) - Afternoon Tea Nurture Soap (add to soap batter at light trace).

Recipe Instructions

Use Honeybush Tea instead of plain distilled water to make lye water (use 2 tea bags to brew tea).

Citric Acid (@ 2%) - dissolve in prepared tea BEFORE adding lye.

Additional lye (@ 2%) - dissolve in prepared tea with other lye amount.

Silk fibers - dissolve cotton ball size per pinch to prepared tea AFTER adding lye while the lye tea is still hot.

Sodium Lactate (@2%) - dissolve in cooled prepared tea AFTER adding lye, below 100 degrees.

Fragrance (@ 4%) - Afternoon Tea from Nurture Soap (add to soap batter at light trace).
