Recipe Instructions

Using a supersaturated brine solution for the Lye water

I used 600 gm of liquids total. I boiled 420 gm of water, added salt a tablespoon at a time until it no longer dissolves, cooled brine water then prepared lye water solution. After adding lye water to the oils, I also added 120 gm of aloe juice and 60g of glycerin to the crock pot.

My recipe was Olive oil 65%-780 g, Coconut oil 30%- 360 g, Castor oil 5%- 60 g, SF 0%, water 540 g total(420 g water +120 g aloe + 60 g glycerine), KOH 250g

For Brine water we added 9.25 tbsp - average 8 grams per tbsp
